Strategic Leadership & Growth:
Focus on developing and implementing strategic plans to promote growth and profitability of the
SAP practice.
Should be able to Identify market trends, needs of the customer , and cutting edge technologies to
shape the future direction of the practice.
Closely work with the Management to align practice goals in SAP in line with business objectives.
Identify, build and nurture the growth ecosystem (partners, principals, vendors) to maximise the
market reach.
Client Management:
The right candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, keep a strong
understanding of their business requirements and ensure to provide innovative SAP solutions.
Should act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to fine tune their
investments in SAP.
Must receive high levels of client satisfaction through timely delivery, service quality, and prompt
communication.
Team Management:
SAP Practice head will also hire, train and mentor an excellent performing team of SAP consultants,
architects, and developers.
Should be ready to provide leadership, guidance, and support to the new hires and teammates , thus
ensuring a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Crisp and clear communication of the roles and responsibilities, set KRI, and conduct regular
performance evaluations.
Financial Management:
Strong understanding of developing and managing the SAP practice budget, revenue forecasting,
tracking of expenses, and requirements of resources.
Ensure revenue is driven through robust sales and business development efforts, including upselling
and cross-selling opportunities.
Keep a close track of financial performance metrics, analyse variances if any , and implement
corrective actions as and when needed.
Project Delivery:
Keep a close watch on the successful delivery of SAP projects, ensuring adherence to timelines,
budget, and stringent quality standards.
Closely monitor project progress, bowl out risks and issues, and set mitigation strategies to ensure
successful outcomes.
Champion best practices, methodologies, and relevant tools to finetune project delivery , efficiency
and effectiveness.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Should be compliant with SAP standards, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
Add quality assurance processes and controls to maintain high standards of service delivery and
customer satisfaction.
Stay on top of SAP updates, SAP certifications, and industry best practices to ensure the practice
remains competitive and compliant.
Continuous Improvement:
A go getter who is ready to lead initiatives to continuously improve processes, methodologies, and
tools within the SAP practice.
Develop and nurture a culture of innovation and excellence, encouraging experimentation and
learning from both successes and failures.
Lead initiatives for automation, optimization, and standardization to enhance productivity and
profitability.
Constantly help to improve sales pitches and pre-sales/demos.
What will help you do the job well
Bachelor’s or MBA, Computer Science, or related field.
Extensive experience (typically 15+ years) in SAP consulting, with a proven track record of successful
project delivery and client satisfaction and indepth knowledge of SAP Solutions with excellent
knowledge in S4 HANA
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact
effectively with clients, executives, and team members with a strategic mindset to identify
opportunities and thus develop actionable plans
Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management. Excellent
problem solving skills who would love to navigate through complex challenges and drive effective
solutions.
Excellent commitment to unwavering quality, compliance, and continuous improvement, with a
deep passion for innovation and excellence in service delivery.
Lead and ability to closely work with people from diverse background across multiple age groups to
work together towards common goals.
Expertise in dealing with uncertainty and navigate through chaotic situations.
Should be wiling for domestic/ international travels
Good Knowledge of ISMS principles and best practices.
